Usual questions
Before you start your journey to Scandinavia with your tolltickets toll box, make sure to read the
User guide Scandinavia
How can I pay city tolls in Sweden?
The Scandinavian toll box cannot be used for paying the congestion taxes in Stockholm and Göteborg or tolls on the Motala and Sundsvall bridges. The system for paying the congestion taxes and infrastructure levies is fully automated. When a vehicle passes a control station, it is registered, and the vehicle holder is sent an invoice by post.
Where do I find my PAN number to register for additional discount schemes?
To register for additional discount programs in Scandinavia, such as the ØresundGO annual subscription, you must provide your tolltickets PAN number, which you can access in your account in the ‘Orders’ section.
Where can I find my toll transactions and invoices?
You can find all your transaction details and tolltickets invoices in your customer account.
How can I manage my tolltickets devices and contract?
In your tolltickets account, you can access the following functionalities:
-
- Change the vehicle that’s configured on the toll box (please note that this process may require up to 24 hours to take effect).
- Declare a toll box as lost or stolen.
- Terminate your toll box subscription and get the return instructions.
Further obligations for vehicles above 3.5 tons
If you use a commercial vehicle above 3.5 tons, you need to carry the vehicle declaration provided by tolltickets in your vehicle when driving in Scandinavia. Motorways are generally free of charge in Denmark and Sweden, except if you drive a commercial goods vehicle above 12 tons.
I booked a ferry/bridge in advance - what should I do with my toll box?
Place the toll box in the metal bag it came in or wrap it in aluminum foil so that it is not recognized by the antenna, preventing you from being charged twice.
What should I do when I plan to use a rental car?
Upon receipt of the rental car, please make sure that you change the license plate number used privately with your toll box so that it matches that of your rental vehicle. After returning your rental car, please do not forget to link your toll box back to your private license plate.
